Bishkek – Manas Airport, also known by its commercial name Manas International Airport, is an international airport as defined by the civil aviation authority, located 23 km north-east of Kyrgyzstan’s capital, Bishkek, in the district of Manas.

TRAFFIC: Approximately 1 million passengers come through this airport every year.

AIRLINES: Approximately 16 airlines operate from this airport, including Air Astana, Air Manas, Pegasus Airlines, Aeroflot and Turkish Airlines.

DESTINATIONS: Routes include Moscow, Osh, Dubai, Astana and Istanbul.

DEVELOPMENTS: In 2004, the car park in front of the passenger terminal was extended, and in 2007 the terminal underwent a redesign and renovation.
