Riga International Airport is located in the municipality of Mārupe, 10 km from the centre of Riga, in Latvia.

TRAFFIC: Approximately 6 million passengers come through this airport every year.

AIRLINES: Approximately 18 airlines operate from this airport, including Finnair, Lufthansa, LOT Polish Airlines, Wizz Air and Ryanair.

DESTINATIONS: Routes include Moscow, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Warsaw, Malaga and Minsk.

DEVELOPMENTS: In 2006 and 2016, the new extensions to the north terminal were opened, while in 2010 the first terminal dedicated to commercial aviation to the Baltic states was opened.
