Thessaloniki Airport is a Greek Airport located approximately 13 km south-east of the city of Thessaloniki. It was formerly known as Mikra Airport.

TRAFFIC: The airport is the third largest in the country and was the second busiest airport in Greece with over 6 million passengers.

VECTORS: Approximately 60 airlines operate at Thessaloniki Airport, including Aeroflot, Alitalia, Blue Air, Easyjet, Ryan Air and Vueling.

DESTINATIONS: The main routes include Athens, Munich, Berlin, Istanbul, London, Frankfurt, Paphos and Larnaca.

DEVELOPMENTS: A second terminal is currently under construction; its opening is scheduled for 2021. Additionally, there are restructuring plans for the current terminal.
