Vilnius International Airport is located 5.9 km south of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

TRAFFIC: Approximately 3.5 million passengers come through this airport every year.

AIRLINES: Approximately 25 airlines operate from this airport, including Finnair, Belavia, Lufthansa, Norwegian Air Shuttle, LOT Polish Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Ryanair.

DESTINATIONS: Routes include Moscow, Vienna, Brussels, Helsinki, Tallinn, Frankfurt and Bilbao.

DEVELOPMENTS: In 2007, the passenger terminal was renovated, and from 2008, Vilnius Airport has a direct connection to the city with a railway from the passenger terminal to the central train station.
