Lost Luggage Concierge

Lost Luggage Concierge is an exclusive Lost & Found luggage service available via sostravel App (iOS and Android). The service includes:

  • Active Tracking with SITA WorldTracer System;
  • Refund up to €100 per day for delayed luggage delivery starting 48 hours after luggage is found missing, and up to €4,000 for permanent luggage loss;
  • Lost & Found assistance through our 24/7 Customer Care service and our Lost & Found partner offices at the airport;
  • Information services for passengers before, during and after the trip.

Active Tracking with SITA WorldTracer System: This is Safe Bag’s flagship service, the feather in our cap. The Active Tracking service gives us access to real-time information on baggage transfers and enables the Safe Bag Customer Care to be actively involved in recovery operations. The Active Tracking service gives the customer access to the bag journey, that is, information about the bag’s route through various phases of airport transport. The service reduces recovery times by activating direct cooperation between the Safe Bag staff and Lost & Found affiliated offices at the airport.

Refund: Safe Bag offers the highest refunds in its business sector, reflecting the company’s high level of confidence in its services for tracking missing luggage.

  • If luggage is not delivered, from the 49th hour of delay onward, customers receive up to 100€ refund per day for a maximum of 1.000€ (*);
  • If the tracking service is not able to find the missing luggage, customers are entitled to compensation up to a maximum of €4,000.

(*) in case of direct flight (no layovers).

Lost & Found Assistance: Systematic and timely customer support if luggage is missing upon arrival at your destination. Support is available

  • by phone, email, web and social media with Safe Bag Customer Care, active 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
  • At the airport, support is available through our Lost & Found office network partners, such as Aviation Services, an Italian leader in the sector.

Information services: The exclusive sostravel App also includes a series of information services aimed at optimising the travel experience, before, during and after the flight. The services are constantly developing and today include

  • Real time flight information: flight information before departure (ex. departure gate, schedule, etc.) and during flight;
  • Useful information about the departure and destination airports;
  • Other information services related to travel (weather, currency, etc.), and to the departure and arrival airports (means of transport, points of sale, etc.).
