Safe Bag at Madrid Barajas Airport
YOUR SUITCASE TRAVELS ALONE
From the moment you leave it at check-in to the moment it reaches the arrivals belt, your suitcase travels through belts, carts, holds and runways. Nobody is watching it. And not everything that happens to it leaves a visible mark.
A zip can be opened with a pen and closed again exactly as it was. Nothing is broken, nothing is forced. Whoever collects a closed suitcase doesn’t check it, and only realises something is missing days later, at home.
Humidity is high in the hold, and on the runway bags sit in the sun or in the rain before being loaded. Clothes, documents, medicines and electronic devices absorb it all.
Belts and carts show no mercy: cracked shells, torn-off handles, broken wheels.
WHAT WE DO
We wrap your suitcase in a 100% recyclable film, before you reach the check-in desk.
It seals the zip. Opening it without leaving a trace becomes impossible: if someone tries, you see it straight away.
It acts as a barrier against humidity, rain, dirt and scratches. What you packed arrives the way it left.
It protects against the impacts of handling: shell, handle and wheels.
It makes your suitcase easy to recognise on the belt and cuts down wrong pick-ups.
We weigh your bag before the desk, so excess weight doesn’t cost you at check-in, and we also wrap oversized items.
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG, YOU’RE NOT ON YOUR OWN
Baggage can be delayed or disappear. And that’s when you find out the bag isn’t the only problem.
The airline’s number rings out, or puts you on hold. You fill in an online form and nobody replies. Nobody tells you where your suitcase is, nobody tells you when it will arrive. You’re in an airport you don’t know, in a language that isn’t yours, and you no longer know who to ask.
At that point, it isn’t only the baggage that has been lost.
With Safe Bag, you’re not the one who has to go looking for it.
